The AEM MRSEC's education and human resource program is designed to expand both the quality and the reach of STEM education with a special emphasis on materials science, contributing directly to the development of a globally competitive U.S. STEM workforce.

AEM's education and human resource program offers a full spectrum of broader impacts initiatives, spanning K-12 outreach, undergraduate and graduate education, teacher professional development and public engagement, with programming aimed at all ages. 

These activities leverage AEM's research strengths and are designed to foster sustainable, long-term partnerships while maximizing the real world impact of AEM research and training environments.
